Digital equipment had become an integral part of our daily life. From a basic cellular phone to Satellite broadcasting system, every electronic gadget makes use of digital techniques and designs that are embossed on integrated chips to perform their functionality.
As the complexity of these electronic circuits increases, the need to use computers for their design becomes more important.
The subject of VLSI systems spans a broad range of disciplines, including semiconductor devices and processing, integrated electronic circuits, digital logic, design disciplines and tools for creating complex systems, and the architecture, algorithms, and applications of complete VLSI systems.
This course is geared for advanced undergraduate or graduate students of electronics stream with basic knowledge of digital electronics who want to speed up in the rapid digitizing world, with hands on practical knowledge of designing a digital system on a single IC.
